Who we are

This policy covers hilarybilbrey.com. Hilary Bilbrey is a brand of Compass & Key LLC. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Compass &Key LLC.

Information you give us

You give us information when you fill out a form, book a call, sign up for emails or texts, or write to us.

• Our contact form asks for your full name, email address, phone number, a subject, and your message.
• Our newsletter sign-up form asks for your first name, last name, and email address.
• Our HighLevel forms and booking calendar ask for your name, email address, and phone number.
  They may also ask you to pick a time and answer a few questions. They may also ask if you want text messages from us.
• If you email us or text us, we get what you send.

Please do not send us passwords, payment card numbers, or health details through our forms.

Information collected when you visit

Some information is collected on its own when you visit our website. This includes your IP address and the type of browser and device you use. It also includes the pages you look at, the page that sent you to us, and when you visit. Our website tools collect this with cookies and similar tools. You can see those tools in the section called “Cookies and website tools.”

How we use your information

We use information to:

• Answer your questions and messages
• Set up the calls you book and remind you about them
• Talk with you about speaking, coaching, or consulting work you ask about
• Send the newsletter and emails you signed up for
• Send the text messages you agreed to get
• Learn how people use our website so we can make it better
• Block spam and keep our forms safe
• Keep the records we need to run our business and follow the law

Text messaging

If you choose to get text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and keep a record of your consent. We use your number only to send the texts you agreed to get and to reply to you. We also use it to keep track of your choices.

Our texts come from “Hilary Bilbrey.” They may include replies to your inquiry and reminders for calls you book. If you also agree to get updates, they may include news about events and resources.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email hilary@hilarybilbrey.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information
will not be shared with any third parties.

Emails

If you sign up for our newsletter, we will send you emails. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. If you book a call or ask us a question, we may still email you about that call or question.

Cookies and website tools

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. They help a site remember your visit and count how people use it.

These tools run on our website today:

• Google Analytics, added through Google Site Kit. It uses cookies to count visits and show us how people use the site.
• HubSpot. Our newsletter sign-up form is a HubSpot form, so what you type in it goes to HubSpot.
  HubSpot’s tracking code also uses cookies to recognize your browser and record the pages you visit.
  HubSpot also runs a script on our pages that may send what you enter in our other forms, such as the contact form, to HubSpot.
• Jetpack Stats. It counts page views on our WordPress site.
• Google reCAPTCHA. It helps block spam on our forms. Google says reCAPTCHA sets a cookie when it runs. You can read Google’s Privacy Policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Fonts and Jetpack’s image service. Some fonts and images on our pages load from these services. When your browser asks for those files, the services get your IP address.
• Bluehost. Bluehost hosts our website. Its servers get the information your browser sends when you visit.
• HighLevel, also called LeadConnector, runs our forms, booking calendar, emails, and text messages.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of our site may not work the same way.

Who we share information with

We share information with companies that help us run our website and our business. These include our website host and the tools we use for site analytics, spam protection, and our newsletter form. They also include the platform we use for forms, booking, email, and text messages. We share information with them so they can provide those services to us.

We may also share information when the law requires it or to answer a valid legal request. We may also share it to protect the safety and rights of our business, our clients, or other people.

We never give your mobile number or your text message consent to anyone for their own marketing.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as Amazon, Apple Books, Spotify, Google Drive, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We do not control what they collect.

How long we keep information

We keep information as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or longer if the law requires it.

How we protect information

We work to keep your information safe. No website, email, or text system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise your information will always be protected.

Your choices

• To stop newsletter emails, click the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
• To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text from us.
• To limit cookies, change your browser settings.
• To ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to fix or delete it, email hilary@hilarybilbrey.com. We may need to keep some records, such as proof that you opted out.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, email hilary@hilarybilbrey.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
